Women, Infant, and Children (WIC)

 The WIC (Women, Infants and Children) program provides supplemental foods and nutrition education at no cost to low-income pregnant women, breastfeeding and non-breastfeeding post-partum women, and to infants and children up to 5 year of age, who are found to be at nutritional risk.

Foods provided by WIC may include:

Milk Cereal Fruit Juice
Cheese Peanut Butter Carrots
Eggs Tuna Fish Dry Beans

Fruits and Vegetables (during summer months with Farmer’s Market Coupons)

Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) is associated with the WIC program. A variety of fresh, nutritious, unprepared, locally grown fruits, vegetables and herbs may be purchased with FMNP coupons.

WIC is provided five days a week by appointment only.
